BACKGROUND
Theme: The North Africa Uprisings: Implications for Africa
In the past year, the AU has experienced grave challenges. Throughout the North African uprisings known as the “Arab Spring,” the AU found itself unable to act effectively to lead the process towards the resolution of this conflict. Instead, the AU has attracted criticism for its perceived weakness in advancing the African agenda.
Please note that due to limited space, this event is by invite only. However we will keep you updated about the discussions on our website: www.thabombekifoundation.org.za
